Power of Prayer #27

Heavenly Father as I embark on a new journey another year older and wiser, I pray You deliver me from all the tricks of satan. Allow me to be sensitive to when I fall short of Your purpose for me. Teach me to sit quietly instead of talking noisily, nudge me when my pride or anger tries to rise up. Lord I seek Your Spirit to renew me in You. I desire to do better, to be better and to act better and live better. When my flesh pushes me into things of this world Father catch me before I fall. Saturate me with Your presence that as soon as I am lured away from You I immediately reach for Your hand Lord. Father this world is a very scary place and I will not venture out in it alone ever again. I need You with me for every step I take on this earth. Lord I thank you for the tests I've been given, they have become my testimonies. The messes that I involved myself in, You now use them as my messages. Lord I need you every waking moment of my life. I desire to do better, to please my Father, my Lord, my King, my Savior, my Redeemer, my Salvation, my Shepard, my Prince of Peace, my Emmanuel, my Everlasting Love.

In Jesus Mighty Name I surrender all to you. Amen
